ABOVE: Near the summit of Mt. Hutton is a shelf with an outstanding view. The red capped mountain is Red Mountain. To the right of Red Mountain is Hell For Sure Pass, and directly above it Evolution Valley can be seen. Below the pass is Hell For Sure Lake, and below that lake is Horseshoe lake. The basin below is Red Mountain Basin.
On the way to the summit of Mt. Hutton
Once at the top of the pass and you have dropped your heavy pack among the cairns there, it is an easy walk to the summit of 12000 foot Mt. Hutton and viewpoints along the cliffs. If this walk is at all possible to do, this sidetrip should not be missed.
