ABOVE: This is where the maintained trail ends, but you will have to backtrack a bit to get on the cross-country route to "Two Passes", or... make your own way north to Twin Buck Lakes.
Filly Lake
The trail weaves among boulders and on meadow and begins the short climb to the less exposed and beautiful Filly Lake nestled up against a huge granite wall and rimed with a small Lodgepole forest.
